PLEASE NOTE: You must be Firefighter I certified before enrolling into Firefighter II. You must have an up to date EVOC certificate (Within 1 year of the start date of the class). Students are required to attend pre-determined Sunday classes 8a-5p. Specific Sunday dates will be given to students prior to the start of the program.
Course Description
In order to be a full-time paid firefighter within the State of Ohio, you must hold the Firefighter Level Two certification.
This course builds on topics learned in Firefighter Level One and places increased emphasis on skills- like advanced rescue, prevention concepts, and live-fire training. Book cost is not included in tuition, but must only be purchased if you do not have the current Fundamentals of Firefighter Skills 4th Edition.
